Matt and Sharon - One
of my first attempts at realism, this was *originally* going to
be part of a birthday present for my girlfriend Sharon, but it didn't
turn out as well as I had wanted it to.
"Habit-Forming"
- those who read Megatokyo will attest that Fred's art can at times
be "habit-forming", so why not have Piro wear a shirt
that declairs himself so? ^^; I hope he doesn't mind it.
After a Workout - Quick
sketch I did after lifting weights one day, practicing drawing by
eye. Well, drawing by reflection at least.

- Yeah, I wish I could take her to prom with me. *sighs* Kinda lonely
going all by yourself, know what I mean?
Sleepy - Hachiro
and Kampu from Neo Genesis Evangelion: The Empty Dream, a
fanfic a friend of mine has written. This drawing was done at her
request, and besides...they're cute. Do you have a problem with
that? No? Good! ^^;
Borne on Wings
of Steel - Inspired by the song of the same name by Kansas,
this is an example of drawing based on an idea inspired by a song.
Chris Kessoku and his starship Zarya are featured, both from
my manga Falling Sunrise.
Brand New Portrait
- Latest attempt at realism, much better than previous ones in my
opinnion. Sharon just looks so pretty *__*
Road Rage: 1 and 2
- two drawings done for my report on road rage for school. And who
better to exemplify aggressive driving than everyones' favorite
raging, bitter, angry ex-Soviet spy, Comrade M?
Floating Girl - Don't
ask how I managed to draw her hair. I honestly don't know. Random
type drawing done while bored.
Mechanic Type Guy
- No, his name is not Cid. Though it very well could be. Another
random boredom-induced drawing.
Introspection - My art seems to
have gone off the deep end as of late. I don't know why. Yes, this is two of
the same person. Too much of the last two episodes of Evangelion for me, I
suppose. *shrugs*
Living Dead Girl -
Inspired by the Rob Zombie song and the kick-ass video that ties it
to Lain. *__* I love that video.

Losing My Religion - Drawn
at wit's end, hence the title inspired by REM's song. Drawing one's insanity
can be great therapy for oneself, and inspire lovely art...
Wing Slash - Drawn while very angry
at my friends, I calmed down...but not before drawing Safer Massuroth about
to rip Manda, Chris, and Jennifer in half with his wing
Life's a Beach with Johan and Chris - Everyone's favorite pair of lunatics took a little trip to the beach when I did. >^^;< Let's just say that boogie-boarding when one weighs very little is not the best of ideas.
He oughta be sedated... - Let's just say that the over-comercialization of the events of September 11th, 2001 is starting to irritate me. And what better way to express such feelings than via our ever-loveable ex-Soviet spy, Alexi Constantinov?
Matthew Adair and Sharon Gauthier - My latest attempt at a more realistic portrait of us. Not to shabby I think, I'm slowly getting closer...it is very beautiful though, regardless of how acurate a portrait it us. =^^;=
Sharon and Matt/Trinity and Neo - You have to admit, I make one bad looking Neo, don't I? My ever-so-sweet Sharon and myself cosplaying the aforementioned characters from The Matrix.
Ayne Ti'Akaineko - Portrait of my Furcadia character. And yes, before anyone asks, the clothing and the scar were inspired by my watching the first Rurouni Kenshin OAV. I thought it made sense, given Ayne's character...
Ayne and Ki-chan, outside - A image of a sweet scene that played out one day of playing Furcadia, after Johan introduced Ayne to Kisare. Sometimes it's so hard to seperate Ayne's feelings from my own, so drawing them helps me express what Ayne cannot, due to his being a fictional character.
Shiro, Torn Apart - Sharon's character, Shironu Akaineko. Her character has been slowly watching her world break down around her, having her heart broken at various times by her mate, her "brother" (who is played by my self...we play brother and sister at her request, wanting to keep real life and game seperated in both directions), ones she saw as friends...so many lies to tear one apart...
"Ayne-gsting" - I can't seem to help but write characters who see the world through such dark eyes...partly due to the fact that my own vision is tinted in such a way at times. No matter what those close to him- Johan and Shiro especially- tell him, he can not help but feel that he is a shame on Shiro's family. The paranoia of the fact that Shiro, his sister, might find out that Ayne is gay, drove his soul down deeper and deeper for the longest time...hence, Linkin Park's "Papercut" seemed rather fitting.
Ayne - The Real Folk Blues - A lot of Ayne Ti'Akaineko pics are inspired by music. I'm quite the musical person, so it only seems fitting that this would reflect upon the worlds inside my mind. Ayne's scar bleeds- a sign that his character is feeling some form of emotional pain (in this case, detachment and long-time seperaton from Red-chan)- as he howls lowly, while Mia Yamane's The Real Folk Blues tries to find some optimism, only to ultimately fail.
Ayne - Pieces - The deranged, Battousai-like aspect to Ayne's character is interesting to toy with while role playing. What seems like such a peaceful, gentle being carries a more viscious side that lingers just below the surface, showing itself when the time is ripe with hatred. Insane Ayne is cruely and grossly violent, and yet this violence is at the same time a reaction of a desire of revenge- of wanting justice for those who close to him who have been harmed. Ayne is, in his own way, the ultimate statement of the evil of revenge- being the beings of passion that we are, it is not our place to judge and punish another life.
Ayne and Red - Blurry - Puddle of Mud's song seems apt for Ayne and Red- Ayne's mind, bent so out of focus by hate and the arts of destruction and combat, that he cannot comprehend what he's seeing in front of him- someone who genuinely seems to love him, but at the same time, his heart leaps at the chance of having another heart it can rest upon. Red-chan is to Ayne as Sharon is to me- they are their lover's heart, soul, and quite possible their only reason to continue to exist at times. They provide the sense of humanity and love that the other feels that they themselves lack.

Kampu and Hachiro #1 -
(shounen-ai?) Mehhh, I don't like the lineart OR the coloring for
this one. I desperately need to redo it one day, as it's a nice
idea for a picture, it just didn't come out well.
Kampu and Hachiro #2 -
(shounen-ai?) They are cuter than j00. ^o^ I wanted to try and draw
something cute a while back, and what pops into my mind? Heheh,
you do have to admit, it does have the power to make you go "awwwww!"
(at least girls seem to think so)

who I want to contribute to a story but may never get a chance to,

The New Comrade M - Actually,
based on an old interpretation of Comrade M by another manga-ka
on the Megatokyo forum. I just liked his version and so, I tweaked
Alexi's design a little.
Matt and Sharon/Cloud
and Tifa - Errr...lets just say there is a thing as too
much Final Fantasy 7. Myself and Sharon cosplaying...or trying to...as
Cloud and Tifa.
AJ Lee and Brian
Malachy - Two characters in my now-dead comic Apocrypha,
I just love how AJ turned out. Ph33r his l33t posing skillz! XD
Bacon Jemima! - my bizare,
insane, neurotic, childish, seeming completely unstable nut with
a massive sword of a character from when I played in the Sorcerer
Hunters RPG. Bacon was hella fun to play, let me tell you.
Tamashii Akai - The guitar
playing pilot of Evangelion Unit 19, part of the mysterious Triad,
and the one of the unknowing heros of Shinsedai Evangelion.
Mikomi Hachiro - Kampu's
love and the pilot of Evangelion Unit 10 in Manda Turner's Neo
Genesis Evangelion: The Empty Dream. It's been commented that
in some pictures he looks like Harry Potter...?
Chris Kessoku - The mascot
of this site, human-built angel, and otherwise neurotic synthetic
human, Chris is a walking basketcase. But he has cool wings though.

Yasuragi - Boasting an ego far
bigger than he is, Yasuragi often gets himself into trouble with
his big mouth and smart-ass attitude towards...well...everything.
